Speculation:Bush to drop out of the race???

Bush asked to speak with Kerry (via phone, I assume) after the debate ended tonight. This strikes me as very odd.

"anyway, I am new tonight... as you may not have seen me before in here.. just a FYI that I am deaf here and can read lips okay..
at the end of debate where Kerry and Bush shook hands.. Bush was asking Kerry, Can I talk to you later tonight? Kerry said sure then Bush said where would you be? I missed what Kerry said.

I wondered what Bush wanted to talk to Kerry about??

... not good. Not. Good. At all.
I watched them talk after, and it seemed like Kerry was surprised... something was off. I was wondering what was said...

When the president asks to talk to you, you don't not meet with him...

Whatever Bush says, whatever it sounds like, I wouldn't trust it worth a damn.

But Kerry's a senator... he knows the game."

Later, another poster put the exchange as:

"Bush: Can I talk to you (later tonight)?
Kerry: ???
Bush: Where you gonna be?
Kerry: ???
Bush: ... We'll find each other.

Kerry had his back to the camera for this."

So why did Bush want to talk to Kerry? That's beyond unusual.

Maybe he wants more debates
Maybe he has some security or terrorism issue (although that would be handled by the Secret Service, I would think)

or maybe even

3. Bush is poor health, either physically or mentally, or both, and desides he can't handle continuing to campaign, or to do the job if re-elected. It's way too late to have a replacement for him on the ticket; I supose he could drop out and Cheney be president, but if this was known, they would lose-nobody wants Cheney as president, even if he seemingly functions as such already. So, he is going to drop out and endorce Kerry (there are Nader and Badnarik and others running).

Whatever the explanation, this is megaweird. I watched the video again (see cspan.org for it), although I can't read lips, this seems like a reasonable explanation of approximately what they said.

I have to agree that the exchange included the two Bush quotes "where you gonna be?" and "we'll find each other", though it's hard to make out the first part because Bush is turning while saying it and they lowered the mic volume by then. He does seem to say the word "later" though. I'd love to be a fly on the wall for that exchange.

and salon has another picture of "the thing on his back", U shaped very odd. Not a radio, that stuff can be made much, much smaller.
Nope, this is something necessary, a vest? a brace? medical? providing needed medicine? the speculation of a stroke? No doubt the pressure has to be tremendous on him. Iraq being held together with duct tape and bubble-gum, the senate likely to fall to the Democrats and possibly the house too. He may be running at this point to hang on to save face. So that the republicans don't get trounced and he'll have to live with not only losing the presidency but all branches of government. Something that I would welcome but millions of republicans dread, that's why do or die many still support Bush.

maybe this means The Onion will be prophetic once again(link) I hope so but doubt it. I think the more logical explanation is that they are both part of a conspiracy(skull & bones?) to take over the country and crush us normal folks. ;)

Espcially because people who have had bypass surgery (like Cheney) seem to display some kind of brain damage from it.. (For more than you would ever want to know about this, see the neurology journal link that was posted by someone else here on mydd a few weeks back - right after the VP debate)
